Stop Trying to Lose Weight! (Five things you need to stop doing if you want to lose weight)

You will not lose weight if you do these things! Many people before you have discovered that their clothes are slightly tighter than they were previously - especially after the holidays. You may have gained a few pounds, even if you don't want to admit it. Are you looking for a way to get rid of them? Then you should avoid doing the following. Eating too quickly: Your brain takes roughly twenty minutes to recognize that you're full. If you consume your food too quickly, you may not realize you're already full. When you eat slowly, your brain has more time to catch up and will alert you to the fact that you're full sooner (relatively speaking). Putting yourself on a diet: It's not a good idea to put yourself on a tight diet if you want to lose weight and keep it off. You won’t believe the story of the “Success kid” meme now that he’s 10

When the famous picture was taken, the boy was 11 months old, and his face has been copied millions of timesBut the story had an even more surprising turn!

The photo that went down in history as one of the most famous memes on the web turned a decade old this weekend, on the anniversary of the portrait of Sammy Griner, who was photographed by his mother on a Florida beach and came to use his success to help find a new kidney for his father.

"Exactly 10 years later and he's still the best 'Hit Boy' ever!" commented his mother Laney, sharing a picture of Sammy on the same shore and wearing a very similar t-shirt. This time, the boy did not choose to pose eating sand, as in that first scene.

When the famous image was taken, the minor was 11 months old and his family would never imagine that his face would be replicated millions of times by strangers, with allusions to the small (or great) successes of everyday life.

A few months later, already in 2008, the image began to travel among MySpace users. Its viral peak, as shown by Google Trends, was reached in 2012.

The family, far from complaining about the diffusion of the face of a minor, took advantage of the sympathy that it generated among the users to get ahead in a difficult moment.

When his father suffered from kidney disease and underwent dialysis daily in 2015, they opened a campaign to seek a transplant and in just one week they raised USD 88,000, 20 percent more than the goal they set at the beginning.

"They have given my husband life and the hope of a future for Sam. Thanking them for the rest of my life will not be enough," the mother said in a statement at the time.

However, although his image was acquired to be used in some advertising campaigns, the minor has rejected television offers and does not have a high profile on social networks.
